Do Not Worry My Friend!

Have you ever worried about something even though you knew, God would work it out for your good? Do you struggle with worrying? God says not to worry, but I am guilty of this too!

What a view!

One day I was sitting in my living room, the window curtains were slightly open, and I can see the little birds nest in the corner of the ceiling of our patio.

A beautiful momma bird, just minding her own business, protecting her little young. I gazed for about half an hour. A bee flew by, and she used her magnificent little wing to shoo that bee away.

Do not worry!

As I continued to watch I couldn’t help but realize how relaxing this view was. For this moment I did not worry.

I remembered this verse:

Matthew 6:25 – “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

Matthew 6:26 – “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Reminder!

As I meditated on this verse I had peace. I was reminded that God has, all things in His control. I knew the Matthew 6 verse, and I often referred to it. I sent it to a few friends even recently but God, was reminding me today not to worry that I was of more value than the birds of the air.

Trust Him!

We forget, so often, that we have a good, good Father and that He knows exactly what we need. We need only to trust Him, and Him alone. I am so thankful to God that He knows exactly what runs through our minds and if we pay attention, if we be still, we will hear Him more clearly. We will hear Him today.

Fix your eyes on Him!

My encouragement to you, is that you cling to God’s promises and especially to this verse. When you catch yourselves worrying, trust Him. Life is but a moment but eternity with Him is forever! Until He comes, fix your eyes on Him. You are of more value!

In Christ’s Love,

Mary

A woman who spent 21 years of her life feeling rejected, lost and lonely. Who was saved by a King, who continues to pursue her, to redeem, restore and keep her, by His life giving words that she hides deeply in her heart. She is thankful that she has been given a new heart, one of flesh and not of stone who in return, desires to use all that she’s been given to encourage and uplift other women who are in the same bondage that she was once in, by telling them of her Savior. She will forever cling to her King Jesus Messiah and welcomes all to come to His feet, to learn of His ways and His truth and she will forever proclaim that He is our hearts desire, nothing more will ever satisfy. An ordinary women pursued by an extraordinary God. A wife and Mother who has been shown mercy, grace and forgiveness and she desires to show in return that same love, with kindness on her lips, that there is hope in the One who shows us the way, the truth and the life.
